EditBoss is built so your videos stay on your phone. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Your videos

Your original videos, your edits and your exports stay on your device. To find your best takes, the app sends the audio of your clips and a few still frames (up to eight per clip) to our servers. They are stored temporarily while your edit is made and deleted afterwards.

Speech recognition and edit planning are run by third-party AI providers. They receive that audio and those stills to do the work, and may keep requests under their own policies.

Your account

• Your email address, and your name if you give it.
• How you signed in (email, Apple or Google).
• Your plan and billing status. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never see your full card number.
• Your answers if you used our plan finder, so your app starts with matching defaults.

Measurement

When you arrive from an ad, we use advertising pixels from TikTok and Meta to learn which ads lead to sign-ups. They may set cookies and receive a hashed version of your email. We don't sell your personal information.

Your choices

You can see, change or delete your account data at any time. Email support@geteditboss.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.
